Today, Apache Troop said goodbye to SSG C**t Smith. He’s been a mortar man for Apache for 3 years. SSG Smith provided a lot of advice and guidance to the mortar platoon during his tenure. He is headed off to Fort Benning to be a Drill Sergeant. Good luck to you in your future endeavors SSG Smith!

Today, Mrs. Delaney Davidson was awarded the Public Service Commendation Medal, by the Brigade Commander, Col. Kiser.

Since her husband arrived to the Troop in January, Mrs. Davidson has provided a fully catered Chick-Fil-A lunch and provided a Troop breakfast that included her special breakfast casserole (8 pans total), doughnuts, chocolate milk, and orange juice. She has also organized a Troop dinner that took place at Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery. She is currently planning a 5k Troop run, and brainstorming ideas for future events.

Needless to say she has revitalized the Apache Troop SFRG, and plans to continue her efforts going forward. If anybody has an SFRG event they would like to see happen in the future, please DM us and we will get in contact with Mrs. Davidson.
