In honor of National Blood Donor Month, our Bulldogs, along with the help of the American Red Cross of Tennessee (ARCTN), conducted a blood drive in order to donate a goal of 150 units of whole blood.

“This was the biggest blood drive I've seen on Fort Campbell for at least the last 5 years!” stated Debbie Carr, Account Manager for ARCTN.

Thanks to the swiftness and precision of our blood service team of and the gracious community of our installation, we were able to exceed our goal. Within two days, we were able to donate over 200 units of whole blood.

Let’s wrap up our year with a recap!

The battalion was brought together to recognize outstanding performance across its companies. The following Bulldogs were awarded a well-deserved battalion challenge coin for their outstanding efforts and achievements over these last few months.

HHC awarded SPC Lizama, a 42A Human Resources Specialist, for performing and succeeding in his primary role. His efforts allowed the battalion to sustain daily operations.

ABU awarded SPC Rasmussen for his excellence in performing his duties as a mortarman, exceeding expectations by stepping up to fill an empty leadership role, and passing his FDC qualification on his first attempt.

ABU also awarded SGT Stroman for his outstanding performance over the last few months. He earned his EIB, earned his Pathfinder torch, and is Combatives Lvl 2. certified. Performing at such a high caliber is what makes our Bulldogs Above The Rest.

Bushmaster awarded SGT Howell for taking personal initiative by hand-making a custom Christmas ornament for each member of his company. His dedication to the soldiers in his unit serves as a reminder of his great character and willingness to ensure every soldier is included in this holiday season.

Busmaster also awarded SGT Ferguson, who had recently reenlisted in order to continue to provide his expertise and leadership to the soldiers in his company.

MPC awarded PV2 Leonard for his unwavering dedication and grit during the 25-mile ruck where he carried an M240 machine gun and refused to pass it off when both his peers and leaders offered to carry it for him. Despite being new to the battalion, his grit is commendable and is a fine example of the true soldier spirit.

MPC also awarded SSG Toby for his exceptional performance during live fire exercises. His comms were constantly maintained with his superiors, actions on objective were executed with precision, and his soldiers displayed excellent discipline as a testament to their dedication to their rehearsals before ex*****on.

Please take a moment to congratulate these warriors!
