The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Ive certainly missed out on posting DRAGON MASTER highlights, but at least we’re starting now. A company run to The Sabalauski Air Assault School before casing our colors for movement is a great reintroduction

Happy early Thanksgiving!!! Proud to bring you more 63D SGN

On Tuesday 63D became back to back 52 EOD Turkey Bowl Champs! Aint nothing sweeter than a repeater. Wednesday morning we conducted a Turkey Trot that quickly became a ZONK for the Company that allowed everyone to get a head start on traveling/cooking for the Holidays.

Time to highlight 63D’s SGN (Some Good News) over the past two weeks!

(1-2) SPC Romero’s reenlistment by our XO, 1LT Mulhollen
(3) 2ND PLT PL, 1LT Mazurek, graduated and earned his coveted Air Assault Wings! He got pinned by his motivating PSG, SFC Wells.
(4) 63D showing off their football and T-Shirt creation skills at the Nashville stadium, competing in the FCKY MWR league.
(5) 63D Master Driver, SSG Davis, going above and beyond by leading the Company through FCKY driving obstacle course, certifying 100% of the Company on their assigned Vehicles
(6) 63D exceeds the standards again by earning 100% Land Nav pass rate (day and night) at FCKYs Pre-Ranger Land Nav course.
(7-9) 63D 3RD PLTs, SFC Curry, achieves straight edge while earning his Expert Soldier Badge. (Being a first time go at every station)

This is what we love to see. If you witness 63D Soldiers achieving excellence, please capture and submit it!

Operation Ride Home 2025 Applications are now open.
Operation Ride Home helps service members and their families travel home for the holidays. Applications are open until November 15, 2024. Please go to https://ridehome.asymca.org/ to read through the frequently asked questions and how it works. Then go to the red box that says FIND YOUR RIDE HOME and then click on Fort Campbell. This program is for E5 and below who have not used this program in the past. A command approval form must be filled out and attached to the application. Applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified November 21, 2024.

🚨Promotion Alert🚨

This week the Dragon Masters had the privilege of promoting some excellent Soldiers to their next rank.

SGT Vanleeuwen - 3rd PLT Hazardous Assessment Platoon joined the NCO Ranks 01 OCT 24. This promotion was very anticipated as SGT Vanleeuwen is one of our brightest and hardest working Dragon Masters. Recently graduated from BLC on the commandants list and graduated L3 earning the Excellence award for his technical knowledge. We know he will make a great impact as an NCO!

SPC Teixiera- 1st PLT CBRN Mounted Reconnaissance.
SPC Theivendeam- Operations Clerk.

PFC Enoch- 2nd PLT Hazardous Assessment Platoon
PFC Fargo- 1st PLT CBRN Mounted Reconnaissance
PFC Romero- 3rd PLT Hazardous Assessment Platoon

All of these promotions are very well deserved and we excited to watch these Soldiers grow and make the Chemical Corps great. The Command team is overflowing with pride for the soldiers who have earned their next rank.

🔥Dragon Masters on the move🔥

The Dragon Masters traveled to Fort Cavazos for Red Dragon Honors week. During this week NCOs were inducted into the NCO Corps, learned the history of the 2D CM BN dating back to 1917, and got in some challenging PT along side our sister companies.

To our newest NCOs - congratulations and we hope you listened to the words and took hold of what it means to be a member of the Non-Commissioned Officer Corps. For it is you who impacts Soldiers the most and grows our Soldiers to be the best the can be. Never take that for granted, you have true value and meaning in this Army.

Also- please congratulate SGT (P) Jeter for earning his promotional status to SSG this week!

🐉 Training update 🐉

Last week our Dragon Masters conducted Team Situation Exercise (STX).

The Platoons covered mounted and dismounted reconnaissance and decontamination missions in order to remain trained in their tasks.

🐉 Farewell 🐉

Today the Dragon Masters bid a farewell to SGT Tyler Allen who is on his way to become an 11C. SGT Allen was a team leader within 2nd Platoon Hazardous Assessment Platoon and the Company Armorer.

SGT Allen has made a noticeable impact within not only his squad but within the Company as well. He is dedicated and committed to excellence and pushes those around him to strive for the same. SGT Allen will be missed but we wish him and his family the best of luck on his journey and future endeavors!
