Strike Force!

Strike Force Soldiers have relentlessly pursued excellence over the past weeks, focusing on increasing lethality, leadership ability, and refining air assault proficiency. To do so Soldiers have engaged in multiple small arms ranges, a Team Leader University, and a Battalion-level operation at Destiny Phoenix. Our troops have showcased exceptional effort and commitment to the unit. Amidst these impactful training events, our Strike Force Soldiers have demonstrated excellence and elevated their air assault skills, solidifying their unwavering determination to find a way to win.

We also would like to highlight our newest Ranger School Graduate, SPC Menninger. Well Done! RLTW!

Strike Force on Readiness and Resiliency.

The Battalion initiated the first Falcon Cup Competition which measured the Companies on medical readiness, personnel metrics and physicality. During the physicality event, Companies sent up 10-man teams to compete in an EPFA Competition which averaged individual times. Renegade Company led by CPT Brandon Marty and 1SG Eric Dollarhide took home the win earning them the right to call themselves the most "Ready" Company within 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, "Strike Force".

The EPFA was conducted in OCP, MSV and IHPS:

30 Dead-Stop Push-ups
100m Sprint
16 45lb Plate Clean and Press, Ground-Up
50m 2x 40lb Farmers Carry
25m High Crawl
25m Three-Five Second Rush
1 Mile Run

Strike Force continues to focus on Command Discipline Programs (ICI and G.R.E.A.T. pre-inspections), modernization, and maintenance operations.

Unit Highlights:

The Recon Platoon executed Rural Subsurface Hide Site Construction. The platoon built rural hide sites and executed a day into night STX lane and the Sniper team conducted stalks.

Attack Company conducted squad LFXs at Range 52, executed recovery operations after squad LFX, and conducted the initial link up with the NGSW test team at FCKY.

2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, "Strike Force" had a Change of Command yesterday. CPT Eric Rosa is officially apart of Dog Nation! He has taken Command of Dog Company,
the Heavy Weapons Infantry Company for Strike Force.

We bid farewell to CPT Tyler Roth who set a high standard for all the Soldiers of Dog Company and who exemplified discipline as a leader within Strike Force.

🖤 2010 was a tough year for 2-502IN Soldiers and families. Among thousands of boots decorated to memorialize fallen Soldiers across the Division, our fallen brothers and sisters have their spot on the field.

Tomorrow on May 19th at 11:30; the 101st Airborne Division will conduct their annual Boot Ceremony remembering all 101st Soldiers who have fallen post 9/11. If you are in the area and would like to pay your respects and come out to support Strike Force, the ceremony will be located at the 101st Division Headquarters.
