Alpha Battery completed a successful field exercise last week involving multiple training events. Between accomplishing Air Defense training and individual Soldier tasks, the Assassins worked hard to close out the last training exercise of the year.

Alpha Battery enjoyed celebrating many events this week. First off, the Assassins want to thank BG Harrison and CSM Belk for the visit, we look forward to seeing you back at FT Campbell!

We also want to congratulate SPC Lopez on graduating from BLC. Keep up the hard work!

Lastly, the Assassin team finished recovery operations from a successful field exercise focusing on connectivity/technical training and CLS.

Alpha Battery would like to congratulate SGT Kevin Lape on his promotion. A well deserved promotion for an outstanding Soldier who is a true expert in his profession. The Assassin Battery is happy to induct one of our own into the NCO corps. SGT Lape is a staple member of our team, and we wish him luck as he transitions to his next duty station. LIGHT ’EM UP!

To celebrate Eagle Day, the Assassins came together to volunteer their time at Habitat for Humanity. This organization provides housing to families in need in the community. Alpha Battery separated into different groups and completed tasks around their storefront in downtown Clarksville. This Habitat for Humanity location takes various donations of household items and sells them at a discounted rate to fund their projects. From replacing light fixtures to building displays, the Soldiers collaborated with representatives from the store to accomplish bigger projects that the organization could not complete on their own. Thank you to SFC Simonton for organizing this event, and Alpha Battery looks forward to coming back!
