A bitter sweet moment this week as we bid a farewell to SFC Ortega. In SFC Ortega’s tenure in Echo he served as a Platoon Segeant, Operations NCO, First Sergeant, and Jumpmaster. SFC Ortega ranks upon the top 1% of all 91 MOS’ in the entire Army, and was hand selected to serve as the branch talent manager. This past week our Badgers began the movement to The Joint Readiness Training Center, RSOI, and outload. All in the midst of enabling our BN we were able to promote PFC Skulsky to SPC, present our newest Jumpmaster 1LT Hatfield with his knife and bands, and farewell WO1 Rodriguez as he continues on to WOBC.
