☀️ Stay Cool, Stay Hydrated, Stay Safe! 💧
When temperatures rise, staying hydrated is crucial to preventing heat-related illnesses like heat exhaustion and heatstroke. Your body works harder to maintain a normal temperature in the heat, and sweating causes you to lose essential fluids and electrolytes. Don't wait until you're thirsty – that's a sign you're already behind on hydration! For more information on heat safety, visit Heat.gov or CDC.gov.

Staying active isn’t just a goal—it’s a guideline for better health.

Current recommendations suggest:
✔️ At least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity each week
✔️ 2 days of muscle-strengthening exercise

But knowing what to do and knowing how it applies to you are two very different things.

That’s where we come in.

At the Armed Forces Wellness Center, we take the guesswork out by giving you real data about your body and your fitness level:

• Body composition testing (BOD POD or InBody)
• Metabolic testing (COSMED Q-NRG) to understand your calorie needs
• VO₂ max testing to assess your cardiovascular fitness
• One-on-one health coaching for personalized nutrition and exercise guidance

Whether you’re just getting started or trying to break through a plateau, we help you turn recommendations into a plan that actually works for you.

Ready to take the next step? Let us help you train smarter—not just harder.
