Today the Detachment conducted the Change of Responsibility between MSG Sierra and MSG Farr. MSG Sierra bids farewell as he heads off to be the 82nd ABN DIV CBRN SGM. The detachment is in great hands with MSG Farr as he was previously in the detachment as a young SSG. 14th CRD will continue its greatness under his watch. Best of luck to both of them in their new positions.

First of all Happy 4th of July from the 14th CRD. We’ve been busy but just wanted to thank everyone who came out for the annual JW jump. It was great seeing Debbie at the jump to honor JW. Winds were a little high at altitude but we managed to exit everyone. Can’t wait to see everyone next year at the jump.

The 14th CRD was able to get half of the detachment together for a farewell jump for SGT Ayala. It was a bitter sweet jump for all of us but at the same time jumpers earned their 🍀Irish jump wings as well. SGT Ayala will be greatly missed but 7th SFG (A) is getting a blue chipper. If 26th CRD is smart they will sn**ch him up quickly. Best of luck at 7th SFG SGT Ayala. 🫡. You will be missed!

The 14th CRD took part in the 22,000 Meter Rowing Challenge for Mission 22 that SFC Wilkinson is taking part in. He has been rowing and raising money for a great cause. The DET conducted a WOD and then came together to knock out 22,000 meters after being smoked. The team dug deep to support another team member.

14th CRD conducted Military Free Fall operations with 3114, ASC and A Co this past week. Members conducted solo jumps and tandem jumps to practice infil for follow on missions. The detachment is on the move for bigger things to come in the free fall realm.

339 conducted its CERTEX in Fort Pickett, VA in preparation for the VALEX in DPG, UT in JAN. The team conducted its first exfil from one site to another. It placed emphasis on PCC/PCIs due to the fact if they didn’t pack it, they didn’t have it.
