💔 So, what is love bombing?
It’s when someone floods you with gifts, praise, and attention—not out of genuine care, but to gain control or cover up unhealthy behaviors. At first, it may feel romantic, but it can quickly become overwhelming, isolating, and confusing.

🚩 Red Flags to Watch For:
• Saying “I love you” too soon
• Rushing commitment
• Withdrawing affection when you set boundaries
• Making you feel guilty for needing space

💬 Remember: Healthy love respects your pace, your boundaries, and your voice. If something feels off, trust your instincts.

📞 You’re not alone—reach out to your local Family Advocacy Program (FAP) office for support. We’re here to help you sort through what’s healthy and what’s harmful.

🍂 Strengthen Your Connection This Fall 🍂

Military life brings unique challenges, but strong communication can help couples stay connected through every season. This fall, try these tips to improve communication with your partner and build a stronger bond:

✅ Schedule Time to Connect
• Set aside regular “check-in” talks about your feelings, goals, and future—not just the daily grind.
• Put away distractions like phones and laptops to give each other your full attention.

✅ Listen More Than You Speak
• Practice active listening—maintain eye contact, reflect back what you hear, and truly focus on your partner’s words.
• Notice nonverbal cues like body language and tone, which often say more than words.
• Ask open-ended questions that invite meaningful conversation.

💬 Use “I” statements to share your needs clearly and kindly, and explore shared traditions or goals to strengthen your bond.

Even in the busiest seasons of military life, making space to listen, connect, and grow together helps keep your relationship mission ready. ❤️
