Congratulations to FORSCOM Retention’s Staff Sergeant Woods on his reenlistment today with Gen. Poppas. SSG Woods also had the honor of participating in the FORSCOM Army birthday cake cutting ceremony as the youngest Soldier in HQs FORSCOM. Happy 248th Birthday U.S. Army!

Happy Monday FORSCOM. This morning the FORSCOM Retention team had the privilege of reenlisting HQ’s FORSCOM very own SFC Lakisha Bridges of MEO (G-1). SFC Bridges reenlisted into the NCO Career Status Program. A special thank you to CPT Felicia Pack of XVIII ABN Corps for administering the Oath and to all that supported. Congratulations SFC Bridges, keep leading by example.

FORSCOM is proud to announce that the HQDA Secretary of the Army Career Counselor of the year winner is SSG Zachary Olson of 20TH CBRNE Command for the active component. FORSCOM does it again! Congratulations SSG Olson on this significant achievement and way to represent the team.

Last week FORSCOM Retention had the privilege of hosting 7 active component and 3 reserve component Career Counselors in its FY23 Career Counselor of the Year (CCOY) competition. Throughout the week, competitors participated several challenging events testing them both mentally and physically. Each NCO gave it their all and represented their commands with great distinction.

We are proud to announce that the FORSCOM FY23 CCOY winners are SSG Zachary Olson of 20TH CBRNE Command for the active component and SFC Heron Perez of III Corps for the reserve component. Both SSG Olson and SFC Perez will go on to represent FORSCOM in the HQDA Secretary of the Army Career Counselor of the Year competition next month.

Also, a special thank you to FORSCOM’s CSM Sims for presenting both of the winners with the Meritorious Service Medal on behalf of General Poppas and himself.
