Today is National Blood Donor Day!

Every blood donation has the power to save lives. Hospitals rely on generous donors every day to help accident victims, patients undergoing surgery, cancer patients, and many others in need of lifesaving care.

Today, members of the Fort Bragg Police Department were proud to join our community in celebrating Pride and recognizing the diversity, strength, and resilience of our LGBTQ+ neighbors, friends, families, and colleagues.

Events like the Fort Bragg Pride March bring people together to celebrate inclusion, respect, and belonging. We are grateful for the opportunity to participate alongside community members and organizations working to make the Mendocino Coast a welcoming place for everyone.

Good Morning,

The City of Fort Bragg Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in obtaining video surveillance from the 100 block of Park Street and the surrounding areas.

On June 11th, at approximately 12:17 A.M., and unknown male was prowling on a property in the 100 Block of Park Street. The suspect was described as a Hispanic Male Adult, long hair, approximately 150 lbs, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. A brown and tan granite construction ball cap was located at the scene and may be associated.

If you live in this area and have security cameras, the department is requesting any surveillance footage between the 11:00 P.M. on the 10th and 1:00 A.M. on the 11th. Lesley Nohelia Navarro, 14 years of age, was last seen on on June 5th, 2026, at approximately 5:40 P.M. in the area of Chestnut Street and Minnesota Avenue leaving their residence and walking east towards the CV Starr Center. Lesley is 5’2”, has long black hair, is approximately 160lbs, and was last seen wearing a long sleeve silk shirt to be tan with black and white stripes. Black jeans, Black adidas shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to immediately contact the City of Fort Bragg Police Dept at (707) 964-0200.

Please join us in welcoming our first college intern, Cassiti Baroni, to the Fort Bragg Police Department!

Born and raised in Fort Bragg, Cassiti recently completed her junior year at Campbell University, where she is a Division I softball player majoring in Criminal Justice. Over the next few months, she will rotate through our three divisions to gain hands-on experience in law enforcement.

Cassiti plans to pursue a career as a police officer after graduation, and we are excited to be part of her journey. Welcome to the team, Cassiti!
