For Chaplain Tracy Hudgins and the families of 4/3 SFG (A), The Family Challenge Day at Camp Rockfish in Raeford, NC was a day of fun and learning. Families worked together to complete various Active Military Strong Bonds age appropriate challenges. The Family Challenge Day celebrated the strengths of each Family and helped members recognize and build on the great things about each Family member.

This would be a great time to join the 4/3 UMT for an indepth study of the Ten Commandments.

The giving of the Ten Commandments is one of the most well known events in scripture. Yet, throughout history, many have mistakenly viewed the Commandments as conditions for Gods acceptance, or as some type of admissions test to get into heaven. But why did God really give these laws, and how can we apply them to our lives today?

Join them for the next 5 Thursday’s as they will tackle the meaning of these laws and the context in which God gave them. Thursdays @ noon in the 4/3 SFG Conference Room. Lunch provided. All are welcome.

238 years of nurturing the living, caring for the wounded, and honoring the fallen...and going strong.

Today marks 238 years since General George Washington authorized chaplains in the Continental Army. Since July 27, 1775, the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps has faithfully served by nurturing the living, caring for the wounded and honoring the fallen: http://youtu.be/VwdTWM7Y4nQ.
