Hello Support BN! It's that time again for the annual SPT BN CHILI COOKOFF!
WHEN: THIS THUR, 10 NOV from 1130-1300
WHERE: Next to SPT BN HQ, at the Rigger Shed: Type in Google Maps 3XM9+J7W to get here easy. You'll see the Soldier at the road directing you!
This event is free, and everyone who comes gets to vote on the best TRADITIONAL, NON-TRADITIONAL, and SPICY Chilis! VIP Judges will also vote for BEST OVERALL. All winners receive sweet prizes, along with winning for their company the "CHILI COOKOFF BELT."

Hello Support Battalion Family!
UPDATE UPDATE: Location changed!! Due to unexpected scheduling, we will now be in Clay Hall, north of Gruber and Mosby. The NEW details are below for Commanders Cup Award Ceremony and Lunch. Hope you can come out and join us for camaraderie, celebration for all the teams, and good food! We will also have a video showing what our Soldiers accomplished during the competition!

1215 – Lunch – Catered Mission Barbecue, $12 suggested donation includes full plate, seconds as available, two waters or a Gatorade/sports drink

PARKING INSTRUCTIONS: Clay Hall is on the right (east) side of Mosby Street. The parking lot is directly south of Clay Hall. Overflow parking is at Bank Hall, and a 5 minute walk. When you park in Clay Hall Parking Lot, to enter building you will have to walk north on Mosby to the NORTH side of Clay Hall. Civilian family members will have to enter with their Soldier or DA Civilian/Contractor, as it is a protected access building. Tell the Desk you are here for the Support Battalion Commanders Cup Award Ceremony and Lunch, in Room 412A. They will have a roster of all Support Battalion Soldiers and Civilians.

Good afternoon Support Battalion Family and Friends!

Your FRG has an exciting event coming up - the annual Chili Cookoff! We have some GREAT prizes in store for our top four winners which includes your choice of:
- a 3-day weekend pass
- four tickets to a 2022 season Woodpeckers baseball game at Segra Stadium
- a family package for four people to play a free 90-minute game at Battle House Laser Combat (valued at $156!)
OR
- a $25 VISA gift card

Each entry will also receive a participation award! Chili will be judged in four categories: Traditional, Non-Traditional, Spicy, and Best Overall; by our special guest judges AND those in the crowd. Those who wish to judge the contest or simply come to eat some delicious chili can get a taste of every chili, a bowl of your favorite, a piece of homemade cornbread, and a drink for only $5!

In addition to the chili cookoff, your FRG is also hosting a silent auction of gift baskets that were donated from each company.

Good evening Support Battalion family and friends!
Your FRG has an amazing opportunity for you next Friday AUG 13. We are joining forces with the Support Battalion ORG day and get to invite you and your family to come enjoy! This event will begin at 10:20 am and end around 12:30pm. It will be hosted at the Brand New Support Battalion Headquarters Building! See the attached flyer for location details!
Some highlights of the event:
- Free meal provided by unit!
- Free drinks provided by FRG, suggested donations.
- FRG handing out Free back-to-school supplies!
- FRG doing popcorn and cotton candy fundraiser
- Tug of War Contest: 10 person teams, open to everyone, as many teams as each Company/shop/Family members want to put together
- KID Tug of War Contest, by age bracket
- Pie in the Face Fundraiser for Battalion Holiday Party in December: Pie ANYONE in the formation you want! Bring cash or credit card. Don’t want to get pied in the face? Outbid them! We will have hoses to wash off afterwards.(you can opt out if you don’t want to participate)
- Water Fun Bounce Houses for kids younger and older!
- Can Jam, Ladder Golf, Co****le!
WEAR: civvies, casual wear, swimwear for kids if they want
BRING: Chair, picnic blanket, drinks cooler, cash or credit card accepted for donations, yard games, camera to take pictures of your epic Pie in the Face moment when you pied the BC!

ATTENTION!
The jump on the 27th was rescheduled to an early morning jump, between 0730-1130. There will be three jumps taking place that morning. We aim to serve you and provide experiences for you and your family so WE WILL STILL BE THERE! We will be serving everyone breakfast snacks, coffee, and more at a suggested donation of $1 per item. We are suggesting you reach out to your soldier Monday July 26th 2021, to know which wave they will be jumping in. This will allow you to arrive 30 minutes prior to their wave to get situated and see them airborne! Transportation will be provided at various times throughout the morning so if you arrive, you will still be in attendance. The military is ever changing but we aim to continue to serve you! Please share this post with others from our group so the word gets out about the time change!

When: Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 at 0730 - 1130

Where: St. Mere Eglise Drop Zone

Why: To see your soldier jump out of a plane!
