Diablo Company (Immediate Response Force) returned to Fort Bragg and reunited with their families following a five-month deployment to the U.S. European Command (EUCOM) area-of-responsibility.

The company rapidly deployed to Europe in February to address the civil component of the crisis, and reinforce and reassure our NATO Allies. Their hard work and dedication to the NATO Alliance was clear in defending their sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Great job and welcome home! XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort BraggThe 16th Military Police Brigade

Eagle Company Soldiers got after it at the Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) before the long weekend. The Fort Bragg MSTC tests teams’ emergency medical interventions and care under fire proficiency through realistic and expertly facilitated medical training lanes. Great work Echo Company!

This type of training is essential for our forward deployed CA teams. But remember, oftentimes the best emergency preparation at home is prevention. Have a plan, and have fun. MSG Lizanne, the Battalion thanks you and your family for your dedicated service to the Soldiers and families of E/83d. 1SG Thompson, huge welcome to you and your family! Lead them well. The Empire Battalion bid farewell to another outstanding leader headed into this past weekend, with the Charlie Company Change of Command. MAJ Patrick Passewitz relinquished command to MAJ Frank Schwandt, in a ceremony presided over by the Battalion Commander. Pat expertly led his company by instilling a culture centered on tough and realistic training. He deployed multiple teams and planners to the EUCOM area of responsibility, where they had an outsized impact on planning and operations in that theater. MAJ Passewitz, job well done and good luck to you and your family in this next assignment! Frank comes to Charlie Company with a wealth of experience in the EUCOM AOR and CA Regiment. Welcome, MAJ Schwandt and your family to this new chapter! Build, Train, Adapt, and Care! XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort BraggThe 16th Military Police Brigade

Memorial Day Weekend is an occasion to reinvigorate our call to service and honor the ones we have lost. Delta Company (FWD) honored the memory of all U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the United States armed forces. The “Murph” workout honors Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on June 28th, 2005. It consists of a one mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and another one mile run. Well done D Co! XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort BraggThe 16th Military Police Brigade
