🚧 All American Gate Closing For Repairs in Early 2026

🗒️ Fort Bragg NC — Drivers who rely on Fort Bragg’s All American gate should plan ahead. Starting early next year, the gate will close while crews begin a large-scale project to repair both the roadway and the bridge over Gruber Road.

🛠️ The closure is not short-term. Officials said the work is projected to take between 18 and 24 months. That means the gate could remain shut for nearly two years as construction crews smooth out the uneven pavement, repair the bridge structure, and make long-term fixes that have been overdue for some time.

🏢 While the gate itself will be closed, the visitor center connected to All American will stay open. Visitors and contractors will still be able to get passes during the construction period.

🚗 With traffic diverted away from All American, nearby neighborhoods and other gates around Fort Bragg will likely see heavier congestion. Officials said they are already considering ways to ease the strain on commuters once the project gets underway.

🛣️ In addition to the gate closure, a western bypass is being planned near Nursery Road and Anderson Creek in Harnett County. Leaders hope it will reduce traffic bottlenecks in Spring Lake, where many Moore County commuters pass through on their way to Fort Bragg.

🚧 Another change is coming sooner. Manchester Road, stretching from Morrison Bridge Road to Blue’s Road, will be closed in the next few weeks. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes such as Highways 690, 24, and 27 until it reopens.
