In August of 2019, Alpha Company had a new Platoon Sergeant join our formation. Sergeant First Class Hubbard (pictured with the plaque). Since his arrival to A Co, he has acted as the Platoon Sergeant for 3rd Platoon, and gave us the "Honey Badger" name. SFC Hubbard has completed his mission for now, and will be moving on to go do bigger and better things, and also due to things outside of the Army's control. He treated everyone, not just us Badgers, as family, and coworkers. His top priorities were always the welfare of his soldiers, and the accomplishment of the mission. Thank you SFC Hubbard for being a great leader. We all have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers, and we wish you well for whatever the Army brings you. "First One's On Me".

Yesterday we had a promotion for two of our own Badgers. Congratulations to PV2 Urie, and PFC Htoo to their promotion to PFC Urie and SPC Htoo. These two have put in a ton of hard work to prove they are the best they can be. We are extremely proud of them both, and can't wait to see what they do next.

Honey Badgers led the way during the recent active shooter drill! SSG Echols led the Immediate Response Team to neutralize the threat. SGT Stewart led the QRF in estlabising security on site and LT Perry acted as the on site commander coordinating security efforts and tending to the wounded personnel. Great job Honey Badgers!

Congratulations to our very own Badger, SGT Elder on his promotion today. SGT Elder has proven he is a good leader and excellent role model for the Badgers beneath him. His hard work as the retention NCO for our company has also proven that he has a dedication to this unit, and is willing to help Soldiers get the most out of the Army. Thank you for you hard work SGT Elder. We look forward to your continued hard work in the Army.

The Honey Badger Platoon is the third platoon of Annihilator Company, 1-35 Armored Regiment, 2/1 Armored Division, here in Fort Bliss, Texas. Lead by our Platoon Leader, 2LT K., and Platoon Sergeant, SFC H., the soldiers of Honey Badger Platoon hold themselves to a very high standard, and push one another higher every day. These truly are the best soldiers in the Army.
