We had a special day learning about 9/11 and remembering where we all were on that tragic day. We had a student sing the “Star Bangled Banner” for us this morning, and our classes participated in activities to commemorate the day.
“Twenty-five years later, the memory remains, the heroes are honored, and the promise to never forget lives on. 🇺🇸”

Today was the annual Civitan Picnic at Grogan Park. The students had a wonderful day, the food was delicious, and the weather was perfect! Thank you, Gate City Civitan, for another great day! ♥️

🇺🇸 PATRIOT DAY — FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 🇺🇸

This Friday, we invite everyone to wear red, white, and blue as we come together in remembrance of the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

❤️🤍💙 Let us honor those who were taken from us, remember the heroes who stepped forward, and never forget the courage, sacrifice, and unity that followed.

These students are the “cream of the crop” this week!

⭐️Caleb has been a ray of sunshine in the classroom! He has been listening well, doing helpful things without having to ask, & improving his independence at school! We are so proud of him!

⭐️Josh has worked very hard in class this week! He has been a sweet friend holding doors open for his classmates and teachers! He has also been taking the lead during the morning meeting in class! He has had great manners and been a good friend! Way to go, Josh!

⭐️ Jeremiah has adjusted well to his new routine in preschool! He has learned through the hiccups and has quickly learned that school is actually kind of fun. He has worked hard and we are so proud of him!

⭐️ Avery has had a fantastic week! She has been working hard in class and doing a great job participating in classroom instruction. She is also such a great friend to her classmates!

Avery also made a 100 on her spelling test! 🎉
Great job, Avery!

Congratulations to All of these hardworking students! Keep up the good work!
