One last fun themed day for Mrs. Melinda’s class! Pancakes and pajamas! The class has enjoyed all of these fun days of learning so very much! Mrs. Melinda, Mrs. Gena, and Mrs. Becky go above and beyond to ensure their students are learning while having the best time!
They ended the week with a fun hats off to summer activity! ☀️💙

Today, every student and staff member was given a special little alligator friend to take home for the summer with this note! 🐊☀️

We hope our alligators join your family on lots of fun adventures — whether it’s to the pool, on vacation, at the park, out to eat, or just relaxing at home. Mrs. Melinda’s class has had some super fun days planned for her students!

“On Friday in my classroom, we turned learning into a real-life experience with our very own Starbucks coffee shop day! Students practiced important life skills by making orders, communicating wants and needs, handling purchases, and interacting with others in a fun hands-on way. We read Slothee Wants Coffee, learned fun facts about sloths, and even got to pet a stuffed animal sloth friend. Seeing their smiles, confidence, and excitement throughout the day made it so special. Learning life skills through meaningful experiences is one of the best parts of teaching. 💚

I hope my students enjoyed the memories we made while learning important life skills through hands-on fun. Days like these make teaching so special!” - Mrs. Melinda!

They also had a beach day and enjoyed slushies and time in the sunshine! Mrs. Melinda, Mrs. Becky, and Mrs. Gena go above and beyond to ensure their students have FUN while learning!

A huge thank you to Michael Corder for treating our staff to an absolutely delicious low country boil last week! We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity. Everything was amazing, and it meant so much to our staff. We also appreciate the support from our SRO’s family — what a special treat for all of us! Thank you again for making our day extra special.
