🚧 SAFETY TIP OF THE MONTH: CONSTRUCTION ZONE SAFETY 🚧
Construction is now underway on U.S. Highway 87, and many travelers are experiencing delays while passing through work zones.
While waiting can be frustrating, please remember that these are active roadways with moving traffic, heavy equipment, gravel trucks, pilot vehicles, and construction crews working nearby.
One of the most important things you can do while stopped in a construction zone is stay inside your vehicle. Walking alongside the roadway or between stopped vehicles creates unnecessary hazards for construction workers, emergency responders, motorists, and yourself.
A few extra minutes of patience can help keep everyone safe.
✅ Stay in your vehicle
✅ Stay alert
✅ Watch for instructions from flaggers and pilot vehicles
✅ Slow down and use caution in work zones
Stay in your vehicle. Stay alert. Stay safe.

📞🚑🚔 National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week 🚔🚑📞

This week, we proudly recognize the incredible dispatchers who serve as the calm voice in the chaos for our community.

From answering 911 calls to coordinating emergency response for all of our agencies, our dispatchers are the critical link that keeps everything moving safely and efficiently. They are the first to respond, the ones who gather vital information, and the steady presence guiding both callers and responders through some of the most difficult moments.

At Memorial Ambulance, we are especially grateful for the partnership we share with our dispatch team. Their dedication, professionalism, and ability to manage high-pressure situations make our job possible every single day.

💙 Thank you for your commitment to our crews
💙 Thank you for your service to our community
💙 Thank you for always answering the call

🚜🚑 Spring Safety Reminder — Share the Road

It’s that time of year again—farm equipment is moving on our roadways.

Across Chouteau County, producers are getting back into the fields, and that means large, slow-moving equipmentwill be traveling on highways and rural roads.

🚨 A few important reminders:
• Farm equipment moves much slower than regular traffic
• Be patient—don’t pass unless it’s safe and legal
• Watch for wide turns and equipment that may take up more than one lane
• Give plenty of space—these machines can’t stop quickly

Our goal is simple: everyone gets home safe.

We appreciate the hard work of our local ag community and ask everyone to stay alert and share the road.
