The Maneuver Center of Excellence, Fort Benning, Georgia develops and trains our Nation’s warfighters—Infantry and Armor Soldiers. We do this by combining knowledgeable professional Soldier and civilian mentors with state-of-the-art equipment, and premier facilities,
for dismounted and mounted combat troops to hone their warfighting skills in one location— The Maneuver Center of Excellence. We provide trained, adaptive and combat-ready Soldiers and leaders for an Army at War, while developing future requirements for the individual Soldier and the Maneuver Force and providing world-class quality of life for our Soldiers and their families. Our footprint is growing as just over half of all Soldiers who choose to serve our country as a Soldier will pass through the gates of the Fort Benning to attend some of the 100 courses offered here: Basic Combat Training, Infantry and Armor One Station Unit Training, U.S. Army Ranger School, Airborne School, Sniper School, Pathfinder, Reconnaissance and Surveillance Course School, Combatives School, Officer Candidate School, and functional courses such as Infantry and Armor Infantry Basic Officer Course, Maneuver Captions Career Course, and non-commissioned officer training at the Henry Caro NCO Academy.
