Hawk Troop forges physically fit, technically and tactically proficient leaders. We provide Armor Lieutenants with the foundational knowledge to be future Platoon Leaders with an emphasis on Technical Training and Maneuver of the M1A2 SEPv2 Abrams Main Battle Tank. Responsible for Block II (technical), Block III (Tactics I), and Block IV (Tactics II) Hawk Troop directly molds and influences the future of the Armor branch!

Our Story

Apache Troop forges physically fit, technically and tactically proficient leaders. We provide the foundation learning for future Armor Platoon Leaders with emphasis on offensive, defensive, reconnaissance and security operations at the platoon level. You will be challenged when you get here. We highly encouraged the self study/preparation method. All students that are going to attend the course will be required to read ATP 3-20.15 (Tank Platoon). Apache Troop serves as the second phase amongst the Squadron. We forge individual fundamentals designed to foster the basic skills of soldiering and instill a life long learning process for Armor Leaders in today's Army.
