After 20 weeks of grueling and intense Infantry training, the trainees of Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 50th Infantry Regiment, have reached their culminating event — the Field Training Exercise (FTX).

Just three weeks before Graduation, these Soldiers faced their most demanding test yet. The FTX pushed them to their physical and mental limits. Throughout this final challenge, they rucked a total of 16 miles, executed critical Infantry tasks such as React to Contact and Knock Out a Bunker, and conducted a simulated Air MEDEVAC — all under pressure and fatigue.

Their journey culminated in the Crossed Rifles Ceremony, held at the beach — a powerful and emotional tradition symbolizing their transformation from civilians into Infantrymen.

In the weeks ahead, these newly forged warriors will prepare for graduation and the next chapter of their service, joining Infantry units around the globe, ready to serve with honor, pride, and unwavering commitment.

Strength and Honor.
D/1-50 IN BN — Always Forward.
