🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸Able Friends and Family, you are invited to our turning green ceremony next Wednesday December 17th. This will be a significant milestone in your Trainees life as this ceremony will signify that they have met all requirements to be called a United States Army Soldier 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Here is the information for the ceremony, we will keep updates coming your way in order to keep everyone informed.

Additionally, please communicate with your Trainee the next time you speak with them to make sure you are aware of any and all travel arrangements.

TURNING GREEN CEREMONY:

Look for these signs on Sand Hill next week that say A 1-19 turning green.

-the family brief will be at 0800 at the Regimental Chapel. 187 Infantry Regiment Street, Fort Moore, GA 31905. Building 3220. This will go over the rules for HBL.

-the Turning Green ceremony will begin at 0900 on Pomeroy field that is adjacent to the chapel. They share a parking lot.

-the ceremony will be streamed for FREE on this page.

Able family,

It has been a busy training schedule lately to ensure quality training for your trainees in order to successfully complete all required training to very soon be called United States Soldiers 🇺🇸

Your trainees have conducted:
-Rifle marksmanship training with Back up iron sights
-Army fitness test number 2
-rifle marksmanship training with CCO
-Anvil FTX
-land navigation
-as well as a thanksgiving dinner

These are all milestones for your trainees, and by successfully completing each training event brings them one step closer to conducting their infantry training after Holiday block leave. Keep your trainees in your thoughts and prayers as we near their turning green graduation and HBL 🇺🇸

Able friends and family of class 26-001C…

Over the past few weeks, your trainees and the Drill Sergeants have been hard at work beginning and continuing the training necessary to forge your Trainees to become United States Army Soldiers 🇺🇸 first and foremost, Thankyou for allowing your Trainees to serve our grateful nation and afford us the opportunity to turn them into Soldiers!

The training that has been conducted thus far has been:

-Team Development course (learning to how problem solve and react to situations while working as a team
-confidence course (building confidence through obstacles that may be uncomfortable to most people and proving to them that they can accomplish a task no matter how difficult it may be)
-obstacle course (navigating obstacles displaying the physical abilities needed to achieve success)
-Nuclear biological chemical training (teaching them to trust their equipment in the event it is ever needed)
-SUAS training (learning how to operate drones)
-Army Fitness Test
-rifle marksmanship training
-combatives
-communications training (learning the communication devices the Army uses)

We will continue to post more frequently to keep everyone updated with where your Trainee is at in training however, please remember that training is our priority!

Able family and friends,

We are pleased to welcome you and your soldiers to our company. As we conduct training and molding your soldiers into Indirect Fire Infantry Soldiers, we will do our best to capture some of the training and keep all of the families updated with what they are doing! On behalf of the Able Company cadre, Thankyou for allowing your Soldiers to serve this great nation, as well as a big thankyou for allowing your Soldiers to join this legacy 🇺🇸

So far over the last 11 days, your Soldiers began their integration here in Able Company 1-19, conducted rifle marksmanship in which 100% of the company qualified with their M4 and Close Combat Optic, as well as the M240 machine gun with both day and night firing 💪

We will do our best at posting training and it continues but please remember, training is our priority!

Apologies for an adjustment for the graduation tomorrow.

Graduation will still be held at the National Infantry Museum however, the graduation will begin at 10:00am.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We look forward to seeing everyone come and show their support to their Infantry Soldiers walk accross the field marking the completion of their initial Infantry Training 🇺🇸

ALWAYS ABLE 👊

Over the past few days, your Soldier embarked on their final Field Training Exercise (FTX), where they demonstrated their abilities to employ the training they received over the last 12 weeks to be qualified Indirect Fire Infantry Soldiers!!! They conducted offensive operations, defensive operations, digging in Mortar Firing Points (MFP), conducting fire missions, night operations and conducted a final ruck march 💥

After the completion of their final ruck march, it ended at a sacred ground that every Infantry Soldier has placed their feet to earn the coveted Infantry Cross rifles (an insignia that marks an Infantry Soldier) and join the brotherhood/sisterhood that we as Infantry Soldiers hold close to our heart every day 🇺🇸

Be proud of your Infantryman/women and be ready to hear their stories very soon.

Thankyou fort allowing your Soldiers to continue this legacy and serve this great nation!!!

Continue to be on the lookout as we will begin to push information leading up to the turning blue ceremony and graduation.

Able family,

Over the last week your soldier conducted US weapons including the .50 caliber machine gun, Carl G recoilless rifle, and AT4. These are all weapons that your Soldier will continue to use throughout their tenure in the Infantry 💥 We will continue to forge our crafts as not only Infantry Soldiers but, as Indirect Fire Infantry Soldiers 🇺🇸 as training continues, we will do our best keep everyone updated with what training your soldiers are conducting!

Friends and family of Able Company,

Over the last few weeks your Soldiers have conducted/completed fire tem live fire, mortar training/qualification, as well as mortar live fire in which they fire live rounds out of the 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm mortar systems. The mortar training and live fire is paramount to what it means to be an Indirect Fire Infantry Soldier 👊 we are continuing to train, and are nearing the final objectives to become Indirect Fire Infantry Soldiers very soon 🇺🇸

Here are a few photos to enjoy from the training conducted at the FORGE over the past few days 🇺🇸

It began with tactical skill level 1 training, the Night Infiltration Course (NIC), Battle march and shoot, and culminated in a 10 mile ruck march, and a combatives tournament 👊

Despite the weather and conditions, your Trainees continued to complete their missions/tasks, and display what it takes to be a United States Soldier with the understanding that no matter what the weather is, how tired or hungry we can be, our mission comes first and we will push all the way through the objective 💪

We look forward to seeing everyone come out and show support for your Trainees completing the training required to be called a United States Army Soldier 🇺🇸

ALWAY ABLE!!!

Over the past week, your Trainees have completed Land Navigation 👊 during Land Navigation training, they were taught how to read a Military map, identify various terrain and features, how to locate where they are at on a map, how to use a protractor, and navigate from one point to another!

They also conducted their second Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT).

On Saturday, your trainees embarked on their final journey to qualify them to be a United States Army Soldier with an event called the “Forge” 🇺🇸 over the next couple of days your Trainees will complete tactical training, movement under direct fire at night, battle march and shoot, as well as a final ruck march back to the company 💪 upon completion of the forge, we will begin preparations for HBL and Turning Green!!!!

We are excited to recognize your trainees turning into Soldiers in 5 more days!

We will continue to keep everyone updated as well as push information leading to turning green ceremony.
