During the past two weeks the 212th Military Police Det and Fort Belvoir DES conducted annual law enforcement training and certifications. Both organizations trained on first aid, traffic incidents, military police investigations, and routine patrol duties. The organizations also trained on response to active shooter.
During the training SPC Rux was recognized with a coin of excellence by CSM Hopkins (HQBN, FBVA CSM) for displaying a wealth of knowledge regarding traffic laws and traffic incidents.
SPC Griffiths was also recognized by LTC Ryder with an impact Army Achievement Medal for going above and beyond his expected level of leadership. SPC Griffiths planned, coordinated, resourced and led the training in its entirety.
On our final day, CPT Byers recognized SFC Taylor, SSG Gonzales, and PFC Jones with a Detachment coin of excellence for their expertise, dedication, and tenacity leading up to and throughout the training.
