For the past decade, Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier has provided our Soldiers with capabilities to ensure they remain decisive and dominant throughout the full spectrum of military operations. Our Army conducts offensive operations, defensive operations, stability operations and civil support operations with Soldiers equipped and trained to use the very best equipment and capabilities that
PEO Soldier can provide. We have been conducting operations in Iraq and Afghanistan while simultaneously performing humanitarian assistance missions or contingency operations. As our forces withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan, we remain vigilant in ensuring that our Soldiers are equipped to be effective wherever our nation’s interests dictate. PEO Soldier is making a deliberate effort to integrate technologies for the Soldier as a System. As our Soldiers evolve we are working hard to provide system solutions that provide the greatest capabilities for them. PEO Soldier has been solely dedicated to the American Soldier for the past decade and will continue into an uncertain future. PEO Soldier manages more than 450 products and programs that are a manifestation of that dedication. Our four Project Management (PM) Offices are dedicated to providing the very best equipment. These four offices are PM Soldier Protection and Individual Equipment, PM Soldier Sensors and Lasers, PM Soldier Warrior and PM Soldier Weapons. The Army Vision focuses on continuing to be the pre-eminent landpower force that is ready and relevant to meet the challenges of an ever-evolving security environment. We will continue to innovate to ensure a versatile, expeditionary, agile, lethal, sustainable and interoperable force that faces the challenges of the 21st Century.
