Look out for an increase of military vehicles on state highways and interstates.

JONESBORO, Ark (KAIT) Motorists traveling on Arkansas interstates and highways should prepare for an uptick in military vehicle traffic beginning Friday, May 29, and continuing through June 15, as National Guard troops travel to and from annual training.
National Guard troops will travel from their respective armories to train at Fort Chaffee Joint Maneuver Training Center in Barling. These convoys, consisting of large tactical vehicles, will travel at slower speeds than normal traffic. This may result in minor slowdowns, particularly at the rear of the convoy, where vehicles attempting to pass could cause temporary congestion.
