Today, Fire Marshal Richardson visited a local home daycare to teach fire safety and help little ones learn what to do in an emergency. We always appreciate the opportunity to connect with our community and share important safety lessons with our youngest residents!

Great news! ⚡ We’ve added automatic lightning detection to the outdoor warning siren at Forney Community Park. In addition to citywide severe weather activations, the system can now automatically sound when lightning is detected within 10 miles of the park. This added safety feature will help alert visitors during community events and sporting events.
