One of the first signs of heat illness is muscle cramps, so if you start cramping up it's time to act:
โ Get someplace cooler, stat โ๏ธ
โ Remove excess clothing ๐
โ Drink a cool sports drink ๐ง
โ Avoid caffeine/alcohol ๐ซ๐ธ
Seek medical help if your cramps don't go away in an hour, you have heart problems, or you are on a low-sodium diet.
