Our volunteers provide fire suppression and rescue services for residents and visitors from Forks to La Push, and coastal portions of Olympic National Park.

09/30/2026

Your Three Rivers Fire Department volunteers, alongside personnel from Forks Ambulance, participated in nighttime landing zone operations and patient transfer training yesterday evening with a Life Flight Network aircraft and aircrew at District 6’s Quillayute Airport.

This training provided a valuable opportunity for responders to practice nighttime LZ setup, helicopter safety procedures, communication, and the coordinated transfer of patients to an air medical crew.

We are immensely grateful to the Life Flight Network crew and our partners at Forks Ambulance for helping us strengthen our skills and readiness to serve our community. 🚁🚑🚒

UPDATE:

The Fire Marshall has released a modified burn restriction for Clallam County effective today 9/18/26. Recreational fires are now being allowed in contained fire pits as well as charcoal grills. Please see attached burn ban notice for any additional information.

September 11 Remembrance

Today, we remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and the families, friends, and communities forever changed by that day. We honor the first responders who ran toward danger to help others, and all those who showed extraordinary courage and selflessness in the face of unimaginable circumstances.

Part of never forgetting is remembering not to take each other for granted. Tell the people you love that you love them, appreciate the people who stand beside you, and never assume there will always be another opportunity to do so.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸🚒

Your Three Rivers Fire Department volunteers were dispatched — along with Forks Fire Department, La Push Fire Department, Forks Ambulance, Forks Police Department, and Clallam County Sheriff’s Office — to an overturned vehicle accident on Goodman Mainline Road in the Quillayute Prairie area on the evening of September 8, 2026. Initial reports indicated that a child victim was trapped inside a vehicle.

We appreciate the efforts and professionalism of our mutual aid partners who responded alongside us. Incidents like this demonstrate the importance of coordinated emergency response and strong partnerships between the agencies serving our communities.

🚨Due to low humidity and extreme heat warnings. Effective Immediately Friday, August 7, 2026, a full burn ban is in effect for Clallam County. All outdoor burning including campfires, w**d abatement, and charcoal grills is prohibited.🚨

Last night our crew partnered up with Forks EMS and Coast Guard Station Quillayute River for some litter and patient pack out training. This is a vital training for us as we get called to assist with patient pack outs.

We look forward to every opportunity to train with our partner agencies as it gives us the ability to work with one another before an actual call. Huge thanks to Forks EMS for instructing this training!

📢 Special Meeting Notice

The Clallam County Fire District 6 Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, July 14, at 4:00 p.m. to discuss the proposed levy lid lift.

Community members are welcome to attend and learn more about the topic and the Board’s discussion.

🚨Effective Today, June 24th 2026, Clallam County Burn Ban is in effect.

The Burn restriction applies to all outdoor burning except recreational fires. Recreational fires are permitted unless further banned by extreme weather conditions.🚨

Good Afternoon everyone! We hope everyone is enjoying the sunny weather. We want to address some misinformation being spread around. This upcoming Tuesday 5/19 at 4:30pm we are having our monthly Fire Commisioner meeting which is open to the public. However, this is not a meeting about County Code Enforcement nor is this a County presentation. This meeting is strictly about Fire Department business. Any further questions about this can be directed to our District Secretary Becky Hamlin, 360-640-9280.
