The Lakewood Township Stormwater Basin Retrofit Project has reached its final milestone with the installation of seven educational signs across retrofitted stormwater basins - bringing a multi-phase environmental effort to a meaningful and highly visible close. 👏🌱

OCSCD is proud to announce that Ethan Harding of New Egypt High School has been named the 2026 Grand Champion winner of the NJ Conservation Poster Conest! He says, "soil is an essential resource that helps grow our food and keeps us balanced on our own two feet. Even though we step all over it, we should strive to protect it by using sustainable practices so that future generations can have what we have" - well said and congratulations Ethan! 🌱

Due to severe winter weather, our planned 2026 Ocean County Local Working Group meeting has been canceled. Instead, we are inviting the public to share their input through this survey.

Your feedback is important and will help us:

1. Identify natural resource concerns in Ocean County and the surrounding region

2. Understand which issues should be prioritized

3. Identify opportunities for conservation projects, outreach and partnerships
