It's an exciting time of year! Lots of our little friends are headed off to school for the first time. Read about being kind and helping friends in our new StoryWalk®️ "Time for School, Little Blue Truck" now up at the Sandwich Public Library.

Tuesday @10 Little Naturalists w/ Ranger Sam at the Canal - come meet some of the creatures that live in the waters of Cape Cod with our Touch & Sea program , best for ages 3+
Wednesday @930 Playful by Nature (registered group)

We will also be having Drop-In Free Play in the classroom
Tuesday and Wednesday 930-11

Hello Families

A few people have been asking for my "non-messy" (doesn't stick to hands) slime recipe, so here it is!

1 cup white school glue
½ cup water
Borax solution (1 tsp borax + 1 cup warm water)
*you may not need to add the whole cup of solution

Mix glue + water (and add food coloring if desired)
Add borax solution a little at a time, stirring and kneading.
*Make sure to add borax solution slowly, and stir a bit before you add more- a little goes a long way. When it starts to pull away from the bowl, knead it awhile before adding more borax as it will come together more the longer you knead it.

Store in an airtight container or ziploc out of the refrigerator and it should last for weeks. Enjoy!
