The office will be CLOSED Thursday, June 11, 2026. We WILL be opened Friday, June 12th. We plan on locking overdue accounts next week. Please bring your accounts up to date no later than June 17 to avoid your meter being locked. Thank you!

Statements were mailed May 20, 2026. We are locking meters every 60 days for those that have overdue accounts. We are a small water association and depend on every customer to pay their bill on time so we can provide you with water for your needs. Thank you.

Just a reminder that over due accounts will have their meters locked tomorrow. This includes private and commercial (farm) accounts. The cost to unlock a locked meter is now $75.00, and we ask that you be patient till we can get the meter unlocked. We do not take checks on locked meter accounts, only cash, cashier checks or money orders. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT BY CARD! If you have been paying a small amount on your bill every month but are carrying a balance for 60 days you are consider overdue and your meter will be locked. Please understand that with rising operation costs we must have our customers pay their bills. Thank you for your understanding.

Over due payments on water meters need to be paid/received (if sent by mail) by 10:00 a.m. on May 14, 2026. Meters will be locked on the 14th if they are past due. That gives customers tomorrow or Friday, 12-4 pm to come to the office and bring their account up to date. We’re sorry, but it’s in the mail, will no longer work since a few folks have taken advantage of our generosity. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

The CCR (Consumer Confidence Report) for 2025 is included in the latest statements and were mailed April 16, 2026. The payments are due and must be postmarked by May 12th to avoid a late penalty. Please take time and read over the CCR. This report must be filed yearly and sent to the customers of every water association so you know exactly what is in your drinking water. The Board and employees of LLBWA want you, the customer, to know how much we appreciate your faith and trust in us, and we work hard to keep your trust. Thank you for joining us for another year of good drinking water.

For folks that want to bring payments by the office our physical address is 32335 Hwy 35N, Forest, Ms 39074. All mail will go to P.O. Box 740, Forest, Ms 39074.

Due to the continuing high cost of water supplies the Board of Directors have made changes to a few of our services. The cost of a new account with an existing meter base is now $350, installing a completely new meter is now $750.
The cut off charge will change from $50 to $75, if your meter is locked on an account 60 days past due it will now cost $75 to have the water turned back on.
The returned check or insufficient check charge is now $35.
We can now draft your water bill for a monthly charge of .75 cents, which is cheaper than a stamp. Please come by the office on Thursday or Friday afternoon from 12-4 to sign up for the draft, or to pay your bill.

Statements were mailed today, February 20, 2026. They must be postmarked by March 12th to avoid a late fee. Please let us know by the end of next week if you haven’t received your statement.

Statements were printed on January 22, 2026. They were dropped at the post office Friday morning, January 23, 2026. Your payments must be postmarked by 2/12/26 to avoid a late fee. Please be weather conscious and stay safe this weekend.
