🐾🌟Senior Spotlight 🌟🐾

Bree Porter has been a bulldog since the 5th grade. If you’re on campus in the morning time, you get to hear her announce the daily bulldog news on the intercom. Here’s a few things Bree wanted to share about herself and her time being a Forest bulldog.

❤️Favorite teacher: Bree told us that Mrs. Joselyn Williams is her favorite teacher she’s had at FHS. She says, “I feel like me being in her class made me feel more capable than I thought I could be. She always pushed me to be my best.”

💙Biggest achievement: Bree says she’s most proud of keeping her grades up.

❤️Clubs/Sports: Bree is an avid member of Senior Beta Club and Empowerher. She also plays tennis.

💙Advice: When asked what advice she would give to an underclassmen she said she’d say, “Stay out of drama, focus on your grades, don’t let other people bring you down, and just pray about it!”

Coming soon… The Bulldog Care Closet!

One of our own senior bulldogs, A’Jhari Williams, has decided he wanted to bring our care closet back to life. With the partnership of Senior Beta Club and donations, students and teachers will be able to have access to basic items they may need. Because here at Forest, bulldogs take care of bulldogs!

If you feel led to donate to this cause, please drop off items to the office! Thank you in advance!

🌟Staff Spotlight🌟

We would like to take the time to introduce our team of amazing janitors! They truly are the anchors of the school, always working behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly.

🐾Mr. Shawn Desselle is the newest member to our team. He has already brought so much kindness and spirit to our school. He is also coaching Jr. High boys basketball!

🐾Mrs. Bobbie Anderson has been apart of our bulldog family for many years. You can always count on a warm hello or good morning when passing her!

🐾Mr. Theodore Williams has also been a bulldog for some time now. You can count on him to show up shortly after he’s paged to help with anything. He will get the job done!

Please help us welcome our new assistant principal, Ms. Camille Tilton!❤️🤍💙

Here are a few words Ms. Tilton wanted to share:

“My name is Camille Tilton, and I have 17 years of experience in education as both a teacher and administrator. I have dedicated my career to helping children grow, succeed, and discover the joy of learning. I have a deep passion for teaching and believe that every child deserves opportunities to feel confident, curious, and excited about their education.

As an avid reader and lifelong learner, I strive to model a love of learning while inspiring students and educators to continue growing. My greatest passion is creating an environment where children develop not only the skills they need to succeed, but also a genuine love of learning that will stay with them throughout their lives.

This year, I look forward to sharing my love of learning with the students, faculty, and staff of Forest High School. I am especially excited to get to know our students and their families, learn more about their hopes and goals, and work together to find meaningful ways to help every student succeed. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning, growing, and celebrating the accomplishments of our Forest High School community!”
