The PT Test will be administered both days and serves as Phase One of the hiring process.

Covington County Sheriff's Deputy Yates Rodney was critically injured during a traffic stop on June 08, 2026, when a suspect opened fire. He sustained severe injuries to his heart, lungs, and spinal column. Please stop by Monday June 22, 2026 at the Forest Police Department at 850 Park Rd. Forest, MS and donate on his behalf.

Building Connections with our Community's Youth! Throughout the week, our officers had the opportunity to spend time with some amazing children during VBS at the Forest Baptist Church and Harperville Baptist Church. Our officers enjoyed coloring, Laughing, and making memories with the kids while sharing what it's like to serve our community as law enforcement officers. The children had the chance to learn about the duties and responsibilities of Police Officers, explore our patrol units, and even try on some of our equipment to experience what it feels like to be a Police Officer for the day! These moments our about building relationships, creating trust with our youth. Thank you to Forest Baptist Church and Harperville Baptist Church for the invitation to be apart of this amazing day.
