Last week, Mayor Roberts, Councilmember Larson, Parks Commissioners Morehead and Syring, Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, and City Administration & Parks staff had the opportunity to join the Forest Lake chapter of Let’s Go Fishing for its inaugural voyage on beautiful Forest Lake.

Let’s Go Fishing provides free fishing and boating experiences for people of all ages and abilities, including seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and youth, right on Forest Lake during the open-water season.

This is made possible by dedicated local volunteers who operate the fishing pontoon and help guests enjoy a day on the water, from baiting hooks to celebrating the catch of the day.

We are grateful to have this wonderful organization serving our community and helping more people experience the joy of fishing and spending time outdoors. 🎣☀️
