STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Ms. Lindsay!
Ms. Lindsay has been at NLA for 2 years as a K-6 Special Education Paraprofessional! She was also a basketball coach last year. Here are some interesting tidbits about Ms. Lindsay:
Hometown: Wyoming, MN
Education: She attended Cardinal Stritch University and is excited to continue pursuing her education as she embarks on the adventure of going back to school for a degree in Social Work
How she serves the NLA community: She loves being a calm spot for students β wishing kids a warm good morning, sharing a big smile, or offering a high five. And of course, afternoon crosswalk/flag duty is always a good time!
Her favorite activity at NLA so far this year: Mrs. Conzetteβs Cookie Musical! She is so creative, and the students worked so hard for so long. It was such a fun and imaginative production. Ms. Lindsay also canβt forget our wonderful Sunshine Committee and all the uplifting things they did throughout the year β taco bars, make-your-own sundaes, fondue day, and of course, dirty soda day. They always had a way of boosting staff morale at just the right time of year.
What she does in her non-NLA time: She loves being a mom to her three amazing children, cheering them on at their sports events, spending time at our family cabin, hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing.
