πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ During National Police Week 2026, the City of Forest Hill proudly honors the brave men and women of law enforcement who serve and protect our community every day.

We remember and recognize the sacrifice of our fallen officers, Officer Timothy Joseph Zurevitz and Officer Leo Spicer Jr., whose service and dedication will never be forgotten. We also extend our appreciation to the officers, supervisors, dispatchers, and support staff who continue to answer the call with courage, professionalism, and commitment.

Thank you to all who wear the badge and to the families who stand beside them. Your sacrifice and dedication help keep Forest Hill safe. πŸ’™

🚧 Infrastructure Maintenance in Progress 🚧

The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) is currently performing scheduled winter maintenance and upgrades on older pipeline infrastructure in the area. As part of this planned work, crews must temporarily dewater sections of the pipeline system.

This process includes safely draining water, redirecting flow, excavating the area, and replacing valves to improve the system’s reliability and efficiency.

πŸ’§ If you notice water in the area, please know it is part of this controlled maintenance process and not the result of a leak.

These upgrades help strengthen and modernize the water system to better serve our community.

Thank you for your patience while this important work is completed.

🚧 SLOW DOWN – CONSTRUCTION ZONE 🚧

One of our officers caught a driver traveling at a rate of 107 MPH.

This was not on a racetrack. This was in a construction zone.

Construction zones are in place to protect workers, drivers, and families traveling through our city. Reduced speeds aren’t suggestions β€” they’re there to save lives.

⚠️ Workers are just feet away from moving traffic.
⚠️ Lanes shift unexpectedly.
⚠️ Fines are increased in construction zones.

Speeding at these levels puts everyone at risk.

Please slow down. Arrive alive.

Let’s protect the people working hard to improve our roads β€” and the families driving on them.
