Also be sure to visit the official town website at www.forestheightsmd.gov. Forest Heights is a town located in Prince George’s County, Maryland in the larger postal district of Oxon Hill. The town, approximately half a square mile, comprises approximately 2,500 residents and 945 homes that straddle both sides of Maryland Route 210 (Indian Head Highway), and is located near the Capital Beltway (I-

495), the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and National Harbor. Incorporated in 1949, the town’s governmental structure includes a mayor, six council members, a town attorney, a small police force, and a public works division. The primary land use of Forest Heights is residential, but large commercial areas surround the community. Public meetings are held the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month.
