Part of the San Bernardino County Fire Department, Forest Falls Station 99 (formerly Station 128), proudly protects 1250 people living in a 26 square mile area of Mill Creek Canyon comprising the communities of Forest Falls and Mountain Home Village. Surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest, Sta 99 personnel provide an all risk service to our communities and approx 350,000 visitors a year

who visit the area to hike Mt. San Gorgonio's 11,501' peak, visit Big Falls, the tallest year 'round waterfall in SoCal, escape summer heat or play in heavy winter snows.

The fire was mapped at 55 acres today at 11:30 a.m.

Green Fire - Morning Update 6/28/26
The fire is holding at 33.5 acres as crews are working diligently to solidify a handline around it. Aircraft worked throughout the night and mitigated threats to structures. Highway 38 is open with an es**rt. Crews are remaining in Unified Command.

❄️🚗 Ice & Snow — Take It Slow ❄️
As winter weather slowly approaches, we want to remind residents that snow, and ice can create hazardous travel conditions. Plan ahead, allow extra time, and increase following distance when driving. Many of our canyon roads are in shade this time of year and black ice can linger long into the day and never get time to thaw. Drive slow and Be safe!
