With the upcoming snow storm, please keep in mind that our crews may have a delayed response to emergency calls. Please check on your elderly neighbors and make sure they are ok. Also, try and keep your sidewalks and steps clean if possible. If you need help, please dont hesitate to call 911. We are working with our local fire companies to assist us on calls if needed

Stopped by for our annual visit to Harper's lemonade stand at Bradigan Fuels today. Harper has been doing the stand for 5years and we haven't missed it yet! The money raised goes to Orphans of the Storm animal shelter. We are proud to support her in her effort. FCEMS also made a donation to help support her awesome cause! Way to go Harper!

Our staff spent the morning watching over all of the 5K runners/walkers today. It was estimated that over 800 participated today. Our crews staffed 3 trucks and a crew at the finish line and fortunately, we only handed out 1 Band-Aid!

Shout-out to STAT Medevac and LifeFlight for always being there when we need them. Unfortunately, we have had to use these 2 services recently for critical patients. Both did an awesome job in taking care of our patients who are expected to recover. Teamwork is what it's all about!

Big shout-out from all of us at Ford City EMS to our fellow public safety family today. Our crew had a very serious call today that required extra help and special handling to treat the patient. Everyone pitched in and did a fantastic job in taking care of the patient to ensure that everything went smoothly.

Thanks to Ford City Fire Dept. and Officer Jodi Greiser from SRPD for all of the help at the scene and to MTVFC for setting up the LZ for Lifeflight at Fort Run Park. Thank you to Lifeflight also.

The call today shows that when everyone jumps in to help, the patient is the one that benefits and that's what our job is about!

Please keep all of our local First Responders in mind along with the family of the fire victims this morning in Kittanning. It has been very hard on all of them. Our crew was on scene assisting with the fire. Please say a prayer for all involved.
