For 19 seasons, Camp Fontanelle provided the public a fun and affordable space, in the fall. The corn maze and pumpkin patch was a way for the camp to raise money to sustain and grow its programming. It was six weeks of fundraising!

Today, you can participate in the Washington County Gives nonprofit fundraiser. This year, $10.00 allowed you to go through the corn maze, visit the Petting Barn, take a hayrack ride and more. Would you, please consider a $10.00, or more, donation today during Washington County Gives? This Giving Tuesday event is a way for the county to recognize the nonprofits in the county and allow them, allow us, to further our mission. Our amp is focused on children and youth and providing them opportunities for growth.

Camp Fontanelle is a great place to gather. With the 5-miles of hiking trails, Gaga Ball, Human Foosball, a basketball court, Nine-Square in the Air, numerous fire pit areas and soooooo...many place to just sit, listen, ponder and reflect, who wouldn't want to be at camp. The great thing is that it was all created for people to enjoy those things AND grow in their relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. Camp Fontanelle has the best atmosphere for that to happen. Help camp continue to be a place to grow with Jesus by making a donation on December 2 during Washington County Gives. YOUR participation can make the difference!

Camp has a community that is rarely seen! Sometimes, you can hear the howling of coyotes, as they talk to each other at night, or you might see the evidence of the raccoons, deer or fox but generally, they see you but you don't see them! Camp Fontanelle is a great respite for those two-legged guests but it is home for many four-legged creatures. Camp is many things to many people. Camp is all about friends; those friends with whom you have already established that friendship and those you have yet to meet. Many campers leave with lifelong friends! You can make sure that camp is around for all who want to gather and share time with those friends, all while learning all about our best friend, Jesus.

We are blessed to have volunteers who spend part of their summer, being intentional in providing a great learning experience. They help campers learn a new skill, like these campers who built a treehouse this summer and they are also a spiritual guide to help campers grow in their faith. This is done through worship, guidance and being a good role model. We thank God for our volunteers, campers and summer staff who spend the summer growing in their faith. In two weeks, Dec. 2nd, Camp Fontanelle will be participating in Washington County Gives, giving Tuesday. It is your chance to support nonprofits in Washington County. Your Camp Fontanelle has been providing opportunities to grow in leadership, confidence and faith through fun and fellowship. Some of the fun activities have included zipline, Gaga Ball, Hiking, tree climbing and Challenge Course. Through small and large group activities, faith formation has grown in our campers. Through an intentional Christian community (and a whole lotta fun) Camp Fontanelle allows campers and guests to experience something new. Camp Fontanelle is a place where you can listen and hear God in nature, in laughter, in kindness, in the whoot of an owl, or a hike in the woods.
