The CTH K bridge by the Izaak Walton League will be closed beginning on June 29th 2026. The red circle around the bridge on the map below is what will be closed. The bridge is being replaced. We anticipate opening the new bridge sometime in September 2026.

We’re excited to announce the completion of the outer trail at Laudolff Ledge Conservation Area!

This project would not have been possible without the efforts and support of several dedicated partners. A special thank you to our Highway Department for their work in completing the trial, our Land & Water Conservation staff for recommending the appropriate prairie seed mix to help establish native vegetation along the corridor, and the Rather family for their generous donation that made this project possible.

We are grateful for the collaboration and commitment that continue to enhance our county parks and provide new opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy the outdoors.

We hope you’ll take some time to visit Laudolff Ledge and experience the new trail for yourself!

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, Veterans Park is nearing completion. We are still raising funds for the remaining lighting and security improvements that will help enhance the park experience for all visitors.

If you’d like to support this lasting tribute to our veterans, donations are still being accepted. Every contribution helps bring the project one step closer to completion.

Now that the Veterans Park project is wrapping up, we are looking for volunteers to water grass and trees in the evening, anytime after 4pm. The hose and everything you need is there already.
