The 2026 Litter Challenge is happening now!

Join ACUA - Atlantic County Utilities Authority and the Atlantic County Clean Communities Program to help clean up Atlantic County and compete for a chance to win a mini-grant of up to $500!

The Litter Challenge runs through September 27, 2026. Help beautify our local communities by removing trash and recyclables from roadways, parks, and other public spaces. Report the number of bags collected using our online form (www.acua.com/Community-Hub/Adopt-A-Road-Program/Litter-Challenge.aspx) and submit photos to verify your cleanup efforts.

The contest is open to all Atlantic County residents, and teams can include up to 15 members. Teams will be judged on the amount of litter collected.
