After a great deal of reflection, we have made the difficult decision to close Warfighter Overwatch at the end of 2026.
This decision has not come easily. This organization has been deeply personal to us, and it has been an incredible honor to serve the veteran and first responder community alongside you. Because of your generosity, we have been able to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who needed support, connection, and resources during some of their most challenging moments.
However, as the need for services has continued to grow, the level of ongoing support required to sustain that demand has not kept pace. We have reached a point where we can no longer responsibly operate at the level this mission deserves.
In addition, Faun is navigating some personal health challenges that impact her day to day life - and will for the rest of her life, and it has become clear that we need to step back and refocus our time and energy where it is most needed.
We want to be very clear—this is not a reflection of a lack of belief in the mission. Warfighter Overwatch has always stood for something bigger than us, and we remain incredibly proud of what has been built.
We are deeply grateful for you—our donors, partners, and supporters—who believed in this mission and stood beside us. Your contributions have directly changed lives, and that impact will not be forgotten.
Over the coming months, we will be focused on responsibly winding down operations, honoring our current commitments, and ensuring a thoughtful and respectful close to this chapter.
