Hurricane season is here. Are you prepared?

The FY27 budget process is still ongoing. A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 16, at 12:00 p.m. This hearing provides an opportunity for members of the public to offer comments and testimony regarding the proposed budget.
Immediately following the public hearing, City Council will convene a special budget work session to discuss any issues raised during the hearing and continue its review of the FY27 budget.

Reason for Interruption:
The water supply to your area will be temporarily interrupted to allow for essential water main repair.
Important Notes:
Every effort will be made to complete the work as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this necessary infrastructure improvement.
Rescheduling in Case of Inclement Weather:
Please be advised that this work is weather-dependent. In the event of severe weather conditions (e.g. heavy rain, thunderstorms, high winds) that make the work unsafe or impractical, the water interruption will be rescheduled to the next available clear weather day. We will endeavor to provide as much advance notice as possible of any schedule changes. Please check the City of Folly Beach website or call the Utilities Department for the latest updates.
