Join us for A Night of Poetry & Spanish Guitar with the theme “Ocean & Summer Memories” on Friday, September 4, from 6–8 p.m.

Enjoy an evening of music, poetry, light fare, and refreshments, featuring a beautiful Spanish guitar performance by Giuseppe. This special evening will also include an open mic for summer- and nature-themed poetry.

Folly Beach Stormwater Project
Center Street & Hudson Avenue Asphalt Work

Center Street Asphalt Paving Night Work ( 7:00 PM- 6:00 AM)
Asphalt work on Center Street is scheduled for the following dates:

August 24: Milling of intersections and key-ins
August 25: Paving of Center Street
August 26: Paving of intersections and key-ins
Motorists should expect traffic impacts and delays while this work is underway. Please use caution when traveling through the work areas and follow all posted traffic-control measures.

Hudson Avenue Daytime Work
Milling and paving work on Hudson Avenue is scheduled for August 24 and 25, during daytime hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Please expect possible traffic delays and use caution when traveling through the construction area.

Thank you for your continued patience and support as we complete this important infrastructure investment. The project is entering its final stages, bringing us closer to a fully restored Center Street with improved drainage, enhanced streetscapes, and a better experience for residents, visitors, and businesses alike.
