Pool News!

💦The Foley Pool will officially open on Wednesday, June 3!

💦Swimming lesson sign up continues today 3pm - 5pm at the pool house and throughout the season during open pool hours.

💦Don't forget! The Big Splash returns on June 10! Come early for hot dogs at 5pm and stay for the Big Splash at 5:30! Evening open swim starts at 6pm!

2026 Hours of Operation
Open swim hours 7 Days a Week

June and July:
Non-Lesson Weeks and Weekends: 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Lesson Weeks (M-F): 12:30 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Beginning August Non-Lesson Weeks: 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

REMINDER: Today is the last day to sign up online for swimming lessons! The online system will automatically close tonight (May 27) at 11:59 p.m. There are still open slots available!

Sign up in person at the pool house will continue:
May 31 - 1pm - 3pm
June 1 - 3pm - 5pm
June 3 - during regular pool hours throughout the season

Attention, Foley Friends! Swimming lesson online registration will open tonight at midnight and will run May 15 – 27!

• Please take care in signing up for swimming lessons. We can sometimes move students if you accidentally sign up for the wrong class, but we can’t guarantee there will be room in the class that you do want.

• We also do not offer refunds if you have to cancel your registration completely due to a scheduling mistake.

Please Note: We’ve had to cancel two classes in Session 2 (see below) due to a shortage of swim teachers.

Attention, Foley Friends! Just a reminder that City Hall's public office hours have changed. On Fridays we close to the public at 1:30 p.m. The walk up window will close, and phone calls will forward to voice mail during this time.

The new public office hours went into effect on May 1:

Monday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Public Works will be flushing the city water system this spring as part of routine maintenance of the water system. If you encounter discolored water during this period, you can run the cold, unsoftened tap for a few minutes to clear it up.

The discoloration is not harmful to humans or animals. The color change is due to water sitting in the larger mains and the iron settles out. The sediment sits on the bottom of the main until the water flow is increased.

The flushing process stirs up the sedimentation in the pipe and the water turns black or brown. This process also cleans out the stagnated water in the mains that have little water usage.

Monthly water bills are out and coming soon to a mail box near you!

Please Note:
If your account is delinquent, please pay immediately to avoid a potential disruption of services.

If your account is current, be sure to pay your new water bill in full no later than May 31 to avoid a $25 late charge.

Auto Pay Customers: The funds transfer will occur on the 25th day of the month or slide to the next business day if the 25th falls on a weekend or holiday.
