The Southeast Delco School District is seeking a Director of Human Resources. The successful candidate has functional responsibility for recruitment, hiring, employee orientation, performance appraisal, wage and benefit administration, collective bargaining unit compliance, data collection and interpretation.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) coupled with academic or professional course work in the field of Human Resource Management. Four years of progressive responsibilities as a functional leader in a Human Resources capacity. Knowledge of Public School District administration and PDE regulations preferred. Experience and understanding of budget preparation and oversight, payroll issuance, benefits administration and compliance with ADA, FLSA, FMLA, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, Title IX, etc.
Knowledge and understanding of Pennsylvania School Code and Pennsylvania Department of Education regulations relating to employment matters. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to affect change through collaborative decision-making.
