Hello, hopefully this post won’t get myself into trouble, but here goes.

Cats do not belong in Flushing Township Nature Park.

If you live close to FTNP and let your cat roam there, this is what happens. This American Woodcock was found last weekend in the park, certainly killed by a cat. I have also seen that someone, believe it or not, leaves food for stray cats at FTNP.

Please, PLEASE, keep your cat indoors. This is from a birder of over 50 years, and the owner of an indoor-only cat. Thanks for listening.
