UPDATE:
Upon further investigation and help from the community, we now know these babies belong to an individual in Lockney. How they got to Floydada is still being investigated.

Who do these babies belong to? They have been hanging out around the Sheriff's Office since early this morning.

Amree has been located! Arrest has been made. Investigation on going

Amree Wetzel 12 years old, 4’11, 87 lbs, dirty blonde, hazel eyes

Amree ranaway around 4:00pm leaving her home wearing a white zip-up hoodie, jeans, purple shoes riding a red mountain bicycle.

Amree may be in danger as she has seizures.

The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office would like to announce its participation in the Texas STEP (Selective Traffic Enforcement Program) program federally-funded by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to reduce crashes and fatalities by partnering with law enforcement for high-visibility enforcement in targeted high-crash areas. It involves focusing enforcement on specific issues like speeding, distracted driving, impaired driving, and occupant protection.
