Liberty is excited to welcome Donna Davis and Jessica Carver to the Eagle family! 💙💛🦅

Donna will be joining Liberty as our new Communications (COMM) Teacher, and Jessica will be joining us as our new Academic Life Skills (ALS) Teacher. We are thrilled to have them both at Liberty and can’t wait for an amazing year ahead!

Today we celebrated our amazing 5th graders at their Promotion Ceremony! 🎓🦅✨

It was a special time to reflect on memories made, friendships built, and all the growth these students have shown during their time at Liberty. From laughter to happy tears, the ceremony was filled with pride as we recognized this incredible group of students and all they have accomplished.

We are so proud of our 5th graders and can’t wait to see all the great things they will do as they begin their next chapter in middle school. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle! 💙

Our final SOAR Assembly of the year was full of celebration, laughter, and heartfelt moments! 🦅✨

We recognized our STUCO for earning the TEPSA Student Leadership Award, celebrated Liberty Eagles who received Character Awards for demonstrating what it means to be a Team Player, honored our amazing PTA for earning the Voice for Every Child Award, and recognized staff members with service pins for their years of dedication to LISD.

Mrs. Nuzum’s class also enjoyed a well-earned celebration after reaching 100% ticket sales for Eagle Fest by getting to silly string Dr. Rainey—a crowd favorite! 🎉🎟️

As we closed out the assembly, we took time to honor and say goodbye to several incredible staff members who have impacted the lives of so many students and families. We ended the celebration in the best way possible by cheering on Mrs. Arnet and Mrs. Evans as they biked their way into retirement! 🚲💙

Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the love you’ve poured into Liberty over the years. Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle!

Career Day was a huge success this week. Our students had the opportunity to learn from amazing professionals who shared about their careers, experiences, and passions. From hands-on demonstrations to inspiring stories, students explored the many possibilities for their futures and asked so many thoughtful questions along the way! A big thank you to all of our Career Day presenters for taking the time to invest in and inspire our students. Your impact made the day unforgettable!
