To kick off the first PLC meetings of the school year, Dr. Pendino led staff through team-building activities with a twist. The interactive, hands-on challenges were designed to be more than just icebreakers—it served as a powerful reminder that every single team member plays a vital role in our collective success. It was an inspiring way to set the tone for a collaborative and unified year ahead. 🐾

Great job, Wildcats! Walker placed third in the District-Wide Summer Reading Challenge. Our students logged 34,250 minutes this summer!

🎉 What an awesome day at school yesterday!
Our students took part in our school-wide PBIS Boot Camp, taking time to learn, review, and practice what it means to show our schoolwide expectations every day. From navigating the hallways to making great choices in the cafeteria and on the playground, our kids came ready to learn and lead by example! 🐾💛

🎒✨The 2026 school year is officially underway, and what an incredible morning it was! Our students were greeted with high-fives, big smiles, and so much energy as our amazing teachers, staff, and District Coaches: Jessica Strong, Brittany Reynolds-Turman and Sara Berghoff gathered to cheer on our scholars as they walked through the front doors.
We are so proud of our students and can't wait to see all the growth this year will bring. Let’s make 2026 our best year yet! 💛📚
